Tomorrow's Hope: Educating Refugee Children in Lebanon

Many of us are thinking about displaced families during the holiday season, and wondering what we can do to help. Alfanar is privileged to support a Lebanese non-profit organization, Ana Aqra (Arabic for “I can read) which is working to strengthen the capacity of Lebanese public schools and teachers to provide inclusive education for children in Lebanon, including Syrian refugees who would otherwise be out of school. Alfanar is working to help Ana Aqra strengthen its organizational sustainability and expand its educational curricula. International aid to Lebanon following the Syrian refugee crisis has already begun to decrease, but hundreds of thousands of refugee children are going nowhere, and we are committed to making sure that Ana Aqra's services are here to stay. With over a million Syrian refugees in a country of four million people, Lebanon needs your help. Make your contribution today, by visiting our donation page and specifying "Ana Aqra" in the comments box. 100% of your contribution goes directly to support Ana Aqra. Watch a short video pitch here
