Jussoor
Jussoor is a platform that provides young individuals with the opportunity to become involved with Alfanar's venture philanthropy work in the Arab world.
Alfanar officially launched Jussoor with a pilot workshop in London on 5th - 6th of February 2011. This workshop provided 18 university-aged individuals interested in the Arab region with an interactive learning opportunity to build leadership, communication and problem-solving skills through exposure to expert speakers and challenging group exercises.
The Jussoor participants displayed overwhelming interest in supporting Alfanar's partners in Egypt, helping Alfanar expand its work, and raising awareness about our organisation. Alfanar will host monthly meetings to build Jussoor's momentum as an innovative support network for Alfanar.
Jussoor marks the start of a new network of sharp-minded and motivated young individuals who, through Alfanar, work together to positively impact the Arab region. We hope that more Jussoor workshops and events will follow as this network grows and takes shape.
